When I started training for my first fitness competition this year I did a whole bunch of research on protein powders for women to supplement my nutrition and workouts. I started with BSN lean dessert protein powder and it was alright but giving me digestive problems. I started a bootcamp with Lyzabeth Lopez and through her meal plan skills she asked me to read the ingredient list on the BSN product I was using. It was made with Milk and Egg proteins. Both I'm allergic too. Whoops!!

I have now switched to the Chocolate Vega powder. At first I could barely get it down. I'm not going to lie the taste is horrible when mixed with water. Lyzabeth gave me a great recipe. I now miix my Vega scoop with 1 cup of Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk, 1 tsp of bee pollen, 1 tblsp of Organic Almond Butter, 1 squirt of Agave Nectar to sweetened it and 1 tblsp of gogi juice.

I now crave the taste in the morning and after my evening workout!

Anyone else love Vega??
